Eligibility
|
- Be at least 15 days old and more than 89 years old
- No Coverage under Canadian OHIP
- Be in GOOD Health
at the time you purchase your policy and on the date you exit your country origin.
|
- You are NOT Eligible for coverage under this policy if:
- A PHYSICIAN has advised you not to travel
- YOU
have been diagnosed with a terminal illness with less than 2 years to live;
- YOU have a kidney condition
requiring dialysis; and/or
- YOU have used home oxygen during the 12 Months prior to the date of application
- One
or more persons may be insured under one policy. HOWEVER the EFFECTIVE DATE and EXPIRY DATE must be identical for ALL APPLICANTS.

- A PHYSICIAN has advised you not to travel

- Age 15 days-70 years: can buy

- You have not diagnosed with terminal sickness
- Never been diagnosed or treated for: CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, AIDS, HIV, Alzheimer’s or any type of DEMENTIA,
PANCREATIC or LIVER CANCER, ORGAN TRANSPLANT
- Last 12 Months: Lung condition requiring use of home
oxygen, kidney condition requiring dialysis

- You know of no reason for which you may seek medical attention.
- You are: A foreign worker,
or a visitor to Canada with valid legal status in Canada; or,
- An immigrant awaiting provincial
or territorial government health care coverage; or,
- You are not travelling against a physician’s advice; or,
- You have not been diagnosed with a terminal condition.

- Repatriation
- The preparation and return of your body, including the cost of a standard shipping container
(excluding the cost of a burial coffin) to your country of permanent residence; or,
- Up to a maximum of $5,000 for burial at the place of death (excluding the cost of funeral and related
expenses or a burial coffin), in the event your body is not returned to your country of permanent residence

Side-Trips

- Maximum number
of combined days YOU can be covered in any other country before, during or after YOUR visit to Canada must not exceed 30 days in TOTAL within a 365-day period;
- YOU must be in Canada or YOU must have
planned insured visit to Canada for no less than 51% of the overall time that YOU will be insured with us.

- Each side trip is restricted to a maximum of 45 days.
- If you have a claim outside Canada, the number
of covered days in Canada must be more than 50% of the total covered days elapsed at the time of the claim.

- You must be in Canada or YOU must have planned insured visit to Canada for no less than 51% of the overall
time that YOU will be insured with us.
|

|
- Upto age 89:Stability period 120 days Prior to effective date.

- STABLE CHRONIC CONDITION (SCC) OPTION
- Automatically cover if your age 59 or under
- If you are age
60 to 85, this coverage is available to you if you answer “NO” to all questions on the Medical Declaration form.
- If you answer “YES” to any question on the Medical Declaration
- There have been no NEW symptoms
or change in symptoms;
- There has been no HOSPITALIZATION or change in TREATMENT or dosage in the
180 days prior to the effective date of this policy.

- A)Premier Plan
- Age 69 Under: Need to be stable and controlled 180 days period immediately prior to your
start date
- Age 70-79: Need to be stable and controlled 180 days period immediately prior to your
start date
- Any HEART, BRAIN, LUNG Condition not covered
- Age 80 Over: No Pre-Ex covered
- B)Essential Plan
- Pre-Ex NOT COVERED

- Pre-existing conditions that are not stable in the 120 days before the effective date or the arrival
date in Canada, whichever occurs later, for insureds who are 59 years and under on the application date.
- Pre-existing conditions that are not stable in the 180 days before the effective date or the arrival
date in Canada, whichever occurs later, for insureds who are 60 to 69 years on the application date.
- Any pre-existing conditions for insureds who are 70 years and over on the application date, NOT COVERED

Refunds
|
- A fee of 12% charge on the pro-rata calculation of unused premium for the cost of processing the policy and
the recovery of credit card fees, plus an administrative fee of $25.00. A refund amount less than $10.00 will not be paid.
|

- $250 policy fee if you cancel before your start date (exclude denial of travel visa)

- A refund is available, subject to a $250 cancellation fee, provided no travel has taken place. For cancellation after the
effective date of the Policy, the request must be received no later than one year from the expiry date of the Policy; or,
- If a Super Visa application was denied, a full refund
is available prior to the effective date of the Policy, or a refund less an administration fee is available after the effective date of the Policy, provided the request is received no later than one year from the expiry date of the Policy supporting documentation must be sent to TuGo.
- Refunds must be requested in writing.
